About Me
Hi, I'm Courtney and I'm so glad that you're here! I am a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, passionate about all things health and wellness. My mission is to help you reduce stress around food, simplify nutrition, and free up mind space to live your life to the fullest.
Food Philosophy
I believe that you can do whatever you set your mind to accomplish because nothing is impossible without God. In order to achieve said goals, you need a healthy balance of foods to fuel the body's day-to-day activities. I also believe that food is medicine. Although the innate sense of Intuitive Eating has been lost over time, it can be regained through a supportive, confident, and loving environment.
Mission
I am a proponent of wholesome nutrition through intuitive eating. In today’s world, we are inundated with food rules and diet messages that are confusing, leaving us frustrated and defeated. But I believe that you can relearn to trust your body to fuel it for optimal health. By working to move away from guilt and shame around food and exercise, you can break free from the diet culture chains to better health.

What is a Dietitian?
A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a food and nutrition expert that has completed specific, scientific coursework, a bachelors degree, and hands-on practice with an accredited internship. RDs are credentialed after passing the RD exam once criteria are met.

Dietitians go through rigorous scientific education and training to become certified to work with people who have various health conditions like diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and more. We provide evidence-based recommendations and keep up-to-date with the latest nutrition and health research.

All dietitians are nutritionists,
but not all nutritionists are dietitians.
